1. Client Goals

Kidology Playspace planned to develop a three-level indoor play area that would draw in families, boost length of stay and drive repeat business in an increasingly competitive market. The intent was to merge dynamic play and creative role-playing in a space that would attract a broad age range of childrenwhile fostering an easy-to-supervise setting.

A challenge was to manage the adjustment of play intensities. The customer sought a number of safe, soft play spaces for very young children, and more stimulating diversions— including slides, climbing, trampolines and interactive sports— for older youngsters. Good sightlines, savvy use of space and smooth transitions from one level to the next were equally important to the day-to-day running of the place.

With well designed Indoor Playground Equipment and good play management, the center was expected to deliver high play value, theme appeal and long term commercial viability, and a fun and memorable time to both the kids and the parents.

2. Our Solution

Rethink Table Security

Three levels The three-level layout has a well-designed circulation flow which allows children to smoothly travel from one activity intensity to the next. Activities on lower floors are lighter; on upper floors they become more dynamic, letting people flow around instead of jamming up. With open sightlines, safety netting, and windowed nodes built into the design, parents and staff can easily keep an eye on children at several levels of play.

Zoning Design

The playground is characterized by different play zones catering to various age groups and play requirements. There’s a full toddler area with soft play equipment to toddle safely. The main maize level structure incorporates wave slides, climbing walls, ball pits and role play areas for energetic and imaginative play. Trampolines, foam pits, wipe-out and basketball areas are designed to capture the attention of the older kids and entice them to keep coming back, and there are also space for group activities and parties.

Safety & Material

All play constructions have rounded corners and are covered in impact-absorbing and non-slip material in areas of high traffic. High performance, easy to clean materials were chosen to endure the rigors of day to day use, facilitate maintenance, and promote long term operational success and a safe play environment. Theme Design & Customization

The Jungle Kingdom and the role- playing theme was developed right into the build using custom paint, graphics and interactive play components. Instead of surface pattern decoration, the theme shapes the whole design so that you are lost in a world that motivates creativity and social interaction.

Soft Play Area / Toddler Zone

This area is designed to be a safe and friendly space where little ones can crawl, climb and start to develop their motor skills. Soft padding and low height equipment enable toddlers to play freely while being easy for parents to watch.

Climbing Walls & Wave Slides

Climbing walls and large waveslide designs provide body conditioning and development challenges in a balanced and fun way. These items are purposely positioned to bring visual interest and get older children to repeatedly visit the play zone.

Trampoline Zone

A trampoline): for dynamic movement and athletic play presents a special draw for slightly older kids and teens. Part of the general scheme across the venue, it brings greater variety to play while maintaining the indoors park’s the attraction’s flow.
