ToggleBuilding a playground is a huge economic project. Routine inspections and maintenance can prevent sudden damage to equipment and cause expensive repairs. Keeping each piece of equipment in a safe and good condition can increase the use time and provide customers with a better experience.
Equipment inspections can well identify safety hazards in the playground, so that children do not have to worry about safety issues during play. During the inspection, pay attention to whether the ropes in the rope structure are worn and whether the springs and nails in the steel structure are loose.
For playgrounds, the safety of children is crucial, so regular equipment inspections can not only extend the life of the equipment, but also ensure the safety of the playground.

When building a playground, you have the obligation and responsibility to maintain the highest standards of playground safety. Safety standard inspections vary from country to country. The safety standards for public playgrounds in the United States must comply with F1487-17. European countries need to comply with EN1176 requirements.
To ensure that you can comply with these standards, it is best to inspect your playground weekly, monthly and annually.
Weekly inspections do not need to be so careful and professional, and can be done by individuals. It is mainly to visually check the basic conditions of the play equipment, such as:
1.Whether the equipment is obviously damaged or changed.
2.Keep the play equipment clean and tidy.
3.Empty nearby garbage, etc.
Monthly inspections require a more in-depth inspection. These inspections can be completed by individuals or entrusted to other organizations. The inspection content should include:
1.Check the wear of the surface material of the equipment.
2.Whether the connection of the equipment is stable, and whether the screws and nuts are loose.
3.Whether the equipment can be used normally.

The annual inspection is the most important, and it requires a comprehensive scan of the overall condition and safety of your playground. This should be performed by professionals to ensure that your playground can meet safety standards. The following inspection contents can be involved:
1.Whether there are slight cracks and deep cracks on the surface of the equipment.
2.The integrity and safety of the equipment structure.
3.Test the safety components of the equipment.
4.Comply with local laws and regulations.
After the inspection, the staff will generally issue a detailed inspection report. You should perform maintenance work on the equipment in the report as soon as possible. If you are not sure how to perform maintenance, you can contact us.
