- Safety Netting: Outdoor competition tracks require metal safety netting at least 2.2 meters high in the closed race area and starting preparation area.
- Ventilation and Lighting: Indoor tracks require good ventilation and non-glare lighting. Track illumination should be at least 100 lux.
- Protective Facilities: Depending on the track design, appropriate protective netting, tire walls, and other features may be required to mitigate potential kart collisions.
- Fire safety: The venue should be equipped with fire-fighting equipment that complies with fire regulations.
5.Environmental and Operational Requirements
Noise Control: During operation, noise emissions from a karting track must comply with local environmental standards.
