1. Client Goals

Wiktoria Kostadinow in Poland sought to create a price-friendly indoor playground that was open year-round, which would bring in local families, increase playtime, and provide a stable stream of customers regardless of weather conditions. The result was a bright, vibrant soft play based around physical fun and safe discovery for children of all ages, with low setup and running costs through outdoor location.

The challenge was to achieve dependable all-weather use, short of constructing a complete indoor building. The project team was tasked by the client to design a version of its indoor-style soft-contained inflatable structure for outdoor use by incorporating a sturdy canopy roof to ensure protected play in the rain or sun at a minimal cost.

This necessitated soft, padded areas where infants could crawl, as well as structures for toddlers with low-entry obstacles, plus they needed zones with more active features that would help older kiddos work on their coordination, balance, and bravery—such as tunnels and spiral slides, ball pits, foam punching bags, climbing nets, rope bridges, hanging balls, and balance beams. Focus was on straight lines of sight for supervision, seamless transitions from level to level, and efficient day-to-day operations.

With a flexible soft play solution and with a custom canopy, the project produced a high-play, colorful, and economic outdoor operation—resulting in a sought-after community destination rewarding family visits throughout the year.

2. Our Solution

Protected layout in all weather conditions

The two-tier soft play hasp is covered by a robust canopy roof – it can be used outdoors safely all year round! Circulation from lower gentle zones to higher energy zones is naturally guided with children flowing seamlessly along predefined paths, which reduces pressure on the facilities! The extensive safety netting, the open sightlines and the canopy-supported viewing decks allow parents and supervisors to have direct sight on every level.

Activity Zones Designed for Ages

Lower levels include padded floors, foam obstacles, and low tunnels perfect for toddlers. Many of the mid and upper levels have tunnel/spiral slides, colorful ball pools, punching bags, climbing nets, rope bridges, hanging balls, and balance beams for taking on some energetic challenges. Platforms that are open and interactive help group play and offer social fun leading to longer play times.
