ToggleMeasure the backyard and measure the length, width and height (it is recommended that the dimensions be marked accurately to ±1cm). The accurate site size will help you choose the right equipment for your dog.
Divide the site into different functional areas: sports area, swimming pool area, rest area, and sanitary area.
The sports area is used for running, jumping, training or games. Each device leaves at least 2m×2m of open area for throwing frisbees or ball games.
The swimming pool area allows dogs to play in the water in hot weather. The area of the swimming pool should ensure that at least 2-3 medium-sized dogs can play in the water at the same time without crowding. The shallow area is for small dogs or dogs that are not good at swimming, with a depth of about 20-30cm; the deep area is for large and medium-sized dogs to swim, with a depth of about 50-60cm. You can also make a slope for dogs to walk from shallow to deep, with a width of ≥1m and a slope of ≤15°.
The rest area can be equipped with a sunshade or a place for dogs to rest after exercise.
Safety comes first. Dogs often grind their teeth, and they may use the equipment as their teething sticks. We need to check whether the manufacturer’s materials have passed safety certification and non-toxic testing.
If you want the equipment to be durable, you need to choose plastic or metal that has been treated with UV resistance and has anti-rust and anti-corrosion coatings when purchasing, which can withstand sun and rain.
Choose the function of the equipment according to the dog’s personality and body shape. Active dogs can choose tunnels, jumping racks, balance beams, etc., to consume their excess physical energy during play. The recommended height for small dog jumping equipment is 20-30cm, 30-50cm for medium-sized dogs, and 50-70cm for large dogs. Dogs who like to make friends can choose equipment with more interactions, and pull rings and tug-of-war poles are good choices. Try to choose equipment with adjustable height and angle, so that it can be flexibly adjusted as the dog grows.
This is the last step to complete the on-site layout, and it is just one step away from a perfect dog playground. You can complete the installation step by step according to the manufacturer’s installation drawings. After purchasing the product, our company can provide free installation videos and drawings or video remote guidance, and all equipment can be guaranteed for free for 3 years.
